#It is a process in which a more skilled and experienced person will serve as role model, teacher, encourager and a friend to a less skilled and experienced person in order to promote the latter's professional and personal development.

What you must Avoid as a Mentor:

#Making yourself available at all times

#Doing presentations without the person being mentored in attendance.

#Do not mentor any person who has not yet completed the Orientation and the BTC.

#Do not talk to any prospects (alone) until you understand the concept of this business completely.

#Do not try any presentations until you have been through the BTC and throughly understand the business

#Have you mentor with you for all presentations until you can do it by yourself. Many good prospects get turned off simply because the program is not explained properly.

#Interact with leaders and fellow IR's to create an overall feeling of belonging

#Gather valuable tips on leadership skills, effective communication skills, prospecting ,personal development, objection handling and network building from your mentor.
